In the World of Cosmetics, there is a new craze sweeping the nation; Airbrush Makeup. What was once used by Hollywood Makeup Artists for their Celebrity clients is now available to mainstream America. The secret to flawless skin is now a thing of the past. Many Makeup Artists and Top Salons have added this unique makeup technique to their list of services. When it comes to your Wedding Day, Airbrush is the way to go.

Airbrush Makeup is applied with an airbrush and air compressor whereas traditional makeup is applied with a brush. The mixture of product and air applied through the airbrush leaves the skin with a flawless layer of coverage without any lines. Most Airbrush companies carry a waterproof version of the Airbrush formula. However, it is suggested that you set up a trial run with your artist to test out the product that they are using and make sure that they are experienced in Airbrush technique. As a Pro Makeup Artist in the industry, I have tried nearly every airbrush brand on the market. Some are great, yet others are not.

When analyzing how the product looks there are tell tale signs you should look for. The product should leave an even layer on the skin and there should not be any streaks. It should not look heavy or cakey. You should be able to move your facial features without the product cracking or separating. And the ultimate test, cry your eyes out to make sure that the product is in fact, waterproof. Check with your artist to make sure that the product is alcohol based and not silicone based; the product will perform much better. If all these tests score high you are guaranteed flawless makeup for your Big Day!
